If you are new to RazorBall mail, the first step that you MUST perform is to change your password. To change your password you login to the RazorBall webmail system and during the login process the system will force you to change your password. Here are some short instructions:

 

Change Your Default Email Password set by RazorBall:

  1. Login to RazorBall Webmail by visiting: http://webmail.razorball.net
  2. Once at the RazorBall Webmail Login Screen, use:
    1. Your full email address as your username.
    2. Your RazorBall assigned password.
  3. After you request login, the system will automatically force you to change your default password.
  4. Once you have changed your password, you will be presented with RazorBall webmail.
  5. You are now ready to either use RazorBall Webmail, orconfigure your email client listed above.

 

To choices for Email: POP3 or IMAP - Which is Best for You?

The decision to choose POP or IMAP must be made by everyone. Both POP Email and IMAP Email have pros and cons. In this article we attempt to explain some of the differences to you so that you choose the right method to best suit you needs. To configure a New Account in Outlook:

  1. From within Outlook, select Tools from the top menu bar.
  2. From the drop-down menu select Accounts.
  3. From the new window, make sure the Mail tab is selected.
  4. Select Add, then select Mail.
  5. From the new Wizard, at the Display Name Prompt enter the display name for this account. Ideally this should be your full name. Click Next.
  6. At the E-Mail Address Prompt, enter your new email address. Click Next.
  7. Enter the following at the E-Mail Server Names Screen:
    • My incoming mail server is a [POP3] OR IMAP server (See Above for More Info)
    • Incoming Mail Server: mail.razorball.net
    • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.razorball.net
    Click Next.
  8. At the Internet Mail Login Screen, enter the username provided to you by RazorBall (your FULL email address - generally first-initial followed by last name @ your domain name) in the Account Name field. Then enter your newly created password from the above steps in the password field. Click Next.
  9. Congratulations, Outlook should now be configured to access your new RazorBall Mail account.

 

To edit an Existing Account in Outlook:

  1. From within Outlook, select Tools from the top menu bar.
  2. From the drop-down menu select Accounts.
  3. From the new window, make sure the Mail tab is selected.
  4. Highlight your current mail account by single clicking on the account. Click the Properties Option.
  5. From the new window, click the Servers tab and enter the following information:
    • Incoming Mail Server: mail.razorball.net
    • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.razorball.net
    • Account Name: The username provided to you by RazorBall. This is your FULL email address - generally first-initial followed by last name @ your domain name.
    • Password: Your newly created password from the above steps.
  6. Click Ok on the current window, then click close on the original window.
  7. Congratulations, Outlook should now be configured to access your new RazorBall Mail account.
